  WAINAS atmospheric doom/death metal, Finland (English) 
- Приветствую тебя Kantori. Ну с начала, как всегда, традиционный вопрос, как родился проект Wainas?
Kantori - Перед Wainas, у меня был проект под названием Rautakallo, где я делал более традиционный металлический и death металлический материал. Когда я заметил, что хочу развить мою музыку в брутальном но более холодном направлении, я и основал Wainas. - Твоя музыка выдержана почти в классическом daeth/doom, почему все же этот стиль? Kantori - Этот вид музыки и атмосферный и брутальный, одновременно. И именно это я и хочу создавать в моем проекте. - Как известно, Wainas, это твой соло проект. Не было желания расширить состав? Kantori - Нет, не сейчас. Я все создаю и произвожу, с самого начала и до самого конца, в моей собственной домашней студии (Студия Happokatu). Эта направление деятельности пока стала естественной для меня, чтобы делать музыку. Ведь Wainas это первичная моя цель к моему освобождению головы, без каких либо компромиссов и без чьего то внешнего влияния. Когда я буду иметь достаточно материала, то возможно некоторая "живая - группа" может быть и будет возможна, если конечно будет имеется интерес к ней. Но я думаю, что Wainas будет всегда частью моей личной души. - Ты где-то играл ранее, или просто сел и записал музыку? Был опыт? Kantori - Да, Rautakallo был мой пред-проект, и это фактически увеличило Wainas. Другие heavy metal группы, где я был - группа хард - рока Rotr Grnt, были еще и множество других совершенно разных trash и death групп. Фактически, тот trash / death металл, будучи в принципе слабым для меня и подтолкнул меня, в плане индивидуальной греппы-проекта. В настоящее время я также принимаю участие в PornGroove группы Luger & Schmeisser. - На сегодня известно не мало проектов одного человека, с очень хорошей музыкой. Как думаешь, это обусловлено самодостаточностью музыканта или же просто современными технологиями? Kantori - Современные технологии делает возможным, то что, самостоятельно музыкант может делать, все что требуется, и при чем легко. И, по моему, это - действительно замечательная вещь. Каждый может делать точно то из музыки, что хочет. - Твоя музыка очень динамична и при этом очень атмосферная. На кого-то равнялся? Kantori - Знаешь, я люблю атмосферные и звуковые пейзажи. И эти эмбиентные атмосферы витающие вокруг нас, создают некоторую форму, вид глубины и мрачности в моей музыке. - Тема твоих песен? Kantori - По большей части они представляют слушателю стороны темноты, человеческого безумия, и их последствия. Разные дьяволы и демоны начинают говорить с чьим - то внутренним миром, что впоследствии начинает сказываться. (смех) Эти тематика - основная часть наполняющая мой первый EP. Так же разные виды религиозных мифов и мифов вообще - тоже немалая часть в моей лирике. - Твоя первая работа содержит композиции без имени, только цифры, первый, второй… Прокомментируешь? Kantori - Идея состояла в том, что бы все созданное было как "книга", без деления на песни, просто книга в частях. - В силу своих музыкальных вкусов я заметил, в Финляндии очень сильно развита doom металл сцена. Молодежь равняется на героев, и рождаются новые doom команды, или же в финской сцене нечто свое, особенное? Kantori - При проживании в середине леса, где длинные и холодные зима и полярные ночи ... Хорошо, признаюсь, я не знаю точно. Всех форм металла, кажется, много здесь, в Финляндии. Фактически, во всех Скандинавских странах вообще. - Порекомендуешь кого-то, из не известных, к прослушиванию? Kantori - Если Вы любите зловещий атмосферу и сокрушающие вниз стены гитары, да еще и настойчивое рычание, то я рекомендую Wainas! - Твои личные музыкальные фавориты это… Kantori - Их слишком много, для перечисления, но создавая Wainas, я слушал Ajattara, Kotiteollisuus (особенно альбом Eevan perint), Runemagick, Celtic Frost (особенно альбом Monotheist), Electric Wizard, Lazarus Blackstar, Crowbar, Cannibal Corpse, Burzum... - В Финляндии, впрочем, как и в других странах, очень мало групп поющих на своем родном языке. Твое решение петь, на родном чем-то обусловлено? Kantori - Я люблю мой собственный, родной язык. И я невероятно плохо говорю по английски. (смех) Я пишу всю лирику и поэзию на родном, финском. Я - весьма патриотический человек, я люблю мою страну, Финляндию. Вы не сможете скрыться за вашей лирикой, написанной на вашем родном, каждый понимает её. (если она становится ясной, в моем рычании (смех) - Наше издание считает, что исполнение на родном языке это некий акт патриотизма. Твое мнение? Kantori - Да, я думаю, что это - дань собственной стране, народу, если Вы делаете лирику на родном языке. - Уже известно о небольшом издании твоего первого EP. Уже есть творческие планы на ближайшее время? Kantori - В моей домашней студии (Студия Happokatu) уже создается новый материал. Как только я соберу все задумки, я буду готов работать над следующим альбомои. Создание уже началось. - Спасибо за уделенное время. Добавишь что-то на последок? Well from a beginning, as always, the traditional question, how was born the project Wainas? Kantori - Before Wainas, I had a project named Rautakallo, where I made a more traditional metal and death metal -stuff. Then I noticed that I want to develop my music to more brutal and colder directions and I set up Wainas in this purpose. - Your music is sustained almost in classical death/doom, why nevertheless this style? Kantori - That kind of music is both, atmospheric and brutality. I want to seek above-mentioned things in my compositions. - As is known, Wainas, it is yours solo the project. There was no desire to expand structure? Kantori - Not at this time. I do composing and production from beginning to end, in my own home studio (Studio Happokatu). This policy has now become natural for me to make music. Wainas primary purpose has been to my head emptying, with no compromise and without outside influence. When i have enough material, maybe some kind of "live-group" may be possible, if there is a demand. But I think that Wainas will always be from my soul and body, had it any other members or not. - You somewhere played earlier, or simply sat and has written down music? There was an experience? Kantori - Yeah, Rautakallo was my pre-project and it actually increased Wainas. Other heavymetal bands where i have been is Hard Rock band Rotr Grnt, and miscellaneous trash/death -metal groups. In fact, those latter trash/death-metal projects poor performance has pushed me in this kind of one-man bands. But Wainas is the number one thing, the other projects are only a counterweight to it. - On today it is known not of poorly projects of one man, with very good music. How think, it is caused by self-sufficiency of the musician or simply modern technologies? Kantori - Modern technology makes possible that, at the self-sufficient musician can do what it wants, and easily. And, in my view this is really a wonderful thing. Everyone can make exactly the type of music to what wants. - Your music is very dynamical and thus very atmospheric. On someone was equaled? Kantori - I like a certain atmospheres and sound landscapes. These ambient sections will create a certain kind of depth and inauspicious in my music. - Theme of your songs? Kantori - They deal of largely with darkness, a human madness, and their consequences. The Devils and demons begin to speak to someone's mind and then starts to happen. (laughing) These things are very strongly presence in the first EP. All kinds of religious and myths are also strongly in my lyrics. - Your first work contains compositions without a name, only figures, first, on second … Will comment? Kantori - The intention was to make "the book" and I just not invent up with anything better names of these songs, so I share Tuomio-EP in three parts. - By virtue of the musical tastes I have noticed, in Finland the stage is very strongly advanced doom metal. Kantori - If you like inauspicious ambient and then come crush down guitar walls and aggressively growls, so I recommend check out Wainas! - Your personal musical favorites it … Kantori - These are too many to listing, but making Wainas i listened lot of Ajattara, Kotiteollisuus (especially album Eevan perint), Runemagick, Celtic Frost (especially album Monotheist), Electric Wizard, Lazarus Blackstar, Crowbar, Cannibal Corpse, Burzum... - In Finland, however, as well as in other countries, there are not enough of groups singing on the native language. Your decision to sing, on native by something is caused? Kantori - I love my own mother tongue. And I am unbelievably bad pronouncing english. (laughing) I write a lot of lyrics and poetry in finnish. I am quite patriotic man, I love my country, Finland. And of course you can't hide behind your lyrics in your homeland, everybody understand them, if they get a clear in my growl. (laughing) - Our edition considers, that the performance on the native language is a certain act of patriotism. Your opinion? Kantori - Yes .. I think it is a tribute of own country, if you make lyrics with mother tongue. - Already it is known about the small edition yours first EP. Already there are creative plans for a near future? Kantori - In my home studio (Studio Happokatu) is coming new stuff. As soon as i learned to use those, i'm going to work on the next album. Composing has already begun. - Thank for the given time.
